History of Shafer Staffing, Inc.

Shafer Staffing, Inc. was established in December, 2014 by Darcy Shafer (Saferite) from a long affiliation with my family owning  and operating another agency in the Illinois Valley area for the past 15 years. We are a reliable provider of high-quality temporary, temp to perm and permanent staffing solutions. Our office is located in Oglesby, IL. We are committed to providing rewarding career opportunities to our employees through clients like yourself while conducting business based on Trust, Reliability and Integrity.

Darcy brings to this agency 17 years of Management and Staffing Experience working with companies such as Super 8 Motel as manager, Rent-A-Center as Sales Manager and a competitor Staffing Agency as the work comp coordinator and staffer for many large local companies. Darcy has military background which in turn has given her security clearance of Top Secret, Systematic Planning and organization skills along with Specialized advanced training. Sales and Recruitment of clients and applicants are her specialty. Darcy is also trained by the United States Department of Homeland Security and the FBI to do fingerprinting and Quest Diagnostics to Drug Screen. She is dedicated to providing all of her clients with the type of service she would expect.
Doris Saferite

Doris has left a successful career with Target Corporation in Peru as the Human Resource Team Leader from October of 1994 – September of 2006 to join her husband and daughter in opening the family owned business. Doris has handled all HR functions with Target from RECRUITMENT TO RETIREMENT and is dedicated to providing all of our clients with the type of service she would expect. She is the General Manager and able to co-ordinate all daily office functions with ease and confidence. Doris is also trained by the United States of Homeland Security and the FBI to do fingerprinting and Quest Diagnostics to Drug Screen.

Eric is an asset to our organization. He is quick and professional at staffing all of our various positions and is willing to help others accomplish their objectives. Eric handles all interviews, recruitments, assists in all HR functions, training of new in house employees and his perseverance is outstanding. Eric was also an on site coordinator for one of our largest clients. He has steadfast pursuit of job objectives when faced with an obstacles and always puts our employees FIRST!
